Heading to NYC

Like a year ago, I noticed some hot design-related news happening all at once in NYC. And that got my attention.

As a designer, I always thought that our “Mecca” (sort of) was placed in Europe (you know, the first important design movements, the artist, the bauhaus, etc).

But all of the sudden, NYC started to get hotter and hotter. And I wondered why.
Companies like Behance, Tumblr, Foursquare… all of them have in common the city where they born.
Designers from all over the world are choosing NYC to be the place to live and work. 

So, my curiosity lead me to this moment.

I’m heading to NYC next week with a fellow designer and we want to meet other colleagues. Designers, photographers, creative thinkers. All of them.

We want to know their stories and make some new friends!
I will keep a little journal with pictures and thoughts. This should be fun.
